This License Agreement is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and Channel 8 Software for iOrganizer 1.2, which includes the software itself, any electronic documententation, and any printed materials ("Software"). By installing and using this software, you agree to and are bound by the terms of this agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this agreement, you are not authorized to use the software.
SOFTWARE LICENSE
The software is protected by copyright laws and is licensed, not sold. This agreement grants you the following rights:
1. You may install and use copies of the software on a single computer.
2. You may make copies of the software for backup or archival purposes or to share with another person.
3. You may use the software free of charge for thirty (30) days after it is first installed and launched. At the end of the thirty (30) day trial period, your license to use the software is terminated unless you have purchased a license and received a serial number from Channel 8 Software.
4. Upon purchasing a license to use the software, you may not share or distribute your personal serial number.
OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS
1. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise modify the software.
2. You must maintain all copyright notices on all copies of the software.
3. You may distribute copies of the software to third parties provided that you do not supply any serial number to the third party.
4. You may not rent, lease, lend, or resell the software.
5. You may permanently transfer all of your rights under this agreement provided that the recipient agrees to the terms of this agreement.
6. Channel 8 Software reserves the rights to terminate this agreement if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of ths agreement. In such an event, you must destroy all copies of the software and all of its component parts.
COPYRIGHT
All copyrights to the software and all of its component parts are owned by Channel 8 Software
EXPORT RESTRICTIONS
You agree that you will not export or re-export the software to any country, person, or entity subject to United States of America export restrictions. You warrant and represent that neither the U.S.A. Bureau of Export Administration nor any other federal agency has suspended, revoked or denied your export privileges.
WARRANTIES
Channel 8 Software expressly disclaims any warranty for the software. The software and any documentation is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, neither express nor implied.
LIABILITY
In no event shall Channel 8 Software be liable for any damages (including, but not limited to loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use or inability to use this software, even if Channel 8 Software has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
